Well, while I am posting beautiful songs, might as well put up “Her Most Beautiful Smile” from Rurouni Kenshin. This is a slideshow, but it captures the love of Kenshin and Kaoru very well.

In the show, this song is one of the recurring themes and is heard several times. BUT, the main time it is isolated for the viewer is when Kenshin had lost his sight from a battle and is running his fingers through Kaoru’s hair. He remembers he beautiful face and smile and begins to reminisce about their life together. It is absolutely beautiful.

Composed by Iwasaki Taku this piano solo really gets a woman’s smile :)

On a side note, and since my buddy here wants me to say so on this post, I have always felt that if I could choose to be an anime person Kenshin would be that person. He is a great fighter, a kind and good man, good with children, always fighting for those oppressed. He is a wonderful role model and the pinnacle of what I believe a person should strive to be.
