VMware announces Fusion 2.0 Beta 1 which brings support for even more virtual machine goodness. Check the video above to see some of the new features. I really love the VM across multiple displays and also the Direct X 9 Shader support. DX9 and above are really hard to support ( nigh impossible ) for VMs since Microsoft keeps some of the API locked up ( DRM reasons ) so it is nice to see at least a glimmer of this.

VMware has really run with the Mac OS X virtual machine market. They are doing a much better job than Parallels, IMO. Enough that I am probably going to switch to them as soon as I get home :)
