iPhone 3G Sales Hit 1 Million

Apple’s iPhone 3G sold over 1 million over the weekend. “iPhone 3G had a stunning opening weekend”, said Steve Jobs.
To put this into perspective, the original iPhone took 70 days or so to sell 1 million. The Apple application store reports over 10 million downloads this weekend too.

iPhone 3G Launch Stutters

Oops, looks like Apple finally had a big snafu. iPhone 2.0 buyers all over the country were unable to activate their phones AND MobileMe was down for 3 days or so. OUCH!

Apple Wins Top Design Awards AGAIN!

Apple won two Black Pencil design awards today for the iMac and iPhone designs. These Black Pencil awards are rare and are considered the top award for design in the industry.
Apple has now won 6 of them–more than any other company in history.
